Peaceful Waters Alpacas is a 5 acre property, 7km from the centre of Mandurah in the South West of WA. It was established by Amanda and Michael Boothey in 2004.

Whilst we are both new to Alpacas, there has certainly been no shortage of animal involvement in our lives. Amanda is a qualified Veterinary Nurse and has also studied to receive accreditation as a dog trainer using only positive methods. Michael spent his early years on a cattle station in far North Queensland and later moved to Port Hedland in the North West of WA where his father trained race horses.
We are still finding our feet in the industry and developing our property. Last year, two fully reticulated paddocks were established with a predominantly Kikuyu mix. This year, we intend to put at least another 2 paddocks under reticulation as well as build a functional shearing area.
